Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport offers a variety of transportation options. Each has certain advantages and each calculates fares in a slightly different way. We recommend that you determine your approximate fare before beginning your trip.
Fare Calculation
All fares listed are the maximum rates allowed under contract with the airport. Your actual rate may be less. We encourage you to check with the driver before starting out as many will negotiate. Current rates are required to be posted on the outside of each vehicle.
Limousines
Limousines offer airport-to-door service. For-hire limousines are staged on the south curbs of each terminal and available for walk-up service. Rates are set according to the address being within a given zone. The zone rates listed are for the first two passengers. The rate for each additional passenger is $10 per person.

Taxis
Three taxi companies have contracted with Sky Harbor Airport to provide service for the following rates. These rates apply regardless of how many people in your party and how much luggage you are carrying. You may choose any taxi you wish from the waiting line. The three companies are: AAA Cab (602) 437-4000, Allstate (602) 275-8888 and Discount (602) 266-1110.
Taxicab Rates
- First Mile: $5.00
- Each Additional Mile: $2.00
- Traffic Delay: $20.00 per hour
- Minimum Fare: $15.00
- Airport Surcharge: $1.00 per trip
Scheduled Vans
SuperShuttle operates 24 hours per day on a regularly scheduled basis. It offers airport-to-door service. Vans depart every 15 minutes to all areas of the Valley from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. After 9 p.m., the frequency lessens, please call the company directly if you are departing after 9 p.m. Fares are charged on a flat rate to each geographic area. VIP or Prearranged
A number of companies operate from Sky Harbor as private carriers. These can be town cars, limousines or SUVs that are prearranged prior to your arrival at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. If you prefer service from a particular company, check to see if they are authorized to operate from the airport. If you make reservations for private transportation, be sure to verify with the carrier where to meet you.
Courtesy
Many hotels and resorts provide free pick-up service for their patrons. Check with your hotel for information on services offered. A courtesy telephone center for many hotels and resorts is located adjacent to the baggage claim areas in the passenger terminals.
Service for People with Disabilities
Taxis and limousines will transport passengers with disabilities who use wheelchairs at no additional charge if wheelchairs or other equipment can fit in the trunk with luggage.
Lift-equipped service is available for passengers who use wheelchairs at no additional charge on SuperShuttle. Passengers wishing this service may call (602) 244-9000 (1 (800) 331-3565 outside Arizona, (602) 243-7786/TDD) for reservations.
Accessible van service is provided by several private companies. Please contact each VIP, prearranged or courtesy carrier individually to determine whether they provide service for people with disabilities and what their rates are. View our Special Needs Page.
