Irrigation Water Distribution District Approval Process: The purpose of this report is to approve the process for the City to review requests from City of Phoenix residents to establish or re-establish an Irrigation Water Delivery District (IWDD) with the County. The process is not intended to approve the formation of a district, but rather for the City to provide a recommendation to the County concerning requests for the formation of an IWDD. Light Rail Transit Business Assistance and Outreach Program for Northwest Extension: This report requests that the Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee recommend City Council approval to continue business assistance strategies for businesses along the Northwest Extension of light rail. This will include authorization to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a Business Advocate and Light Rail Business Assistance Consultants. This program is managed by the Community and Economic Development Department’s Small Business Division. This item is for discussion and possible action.
