Free H1N1 and Seasonal Flu Vaccines to be Offered at Sky Harbor

Are you worried about getting the flu but haven’t had the opportunity to get your vaccine this season? Not to worry, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, America’s Friendliest Airport®, is partnering with local health officials to offer free H1N1 and seasonal flu shots and nasal mist. From Monday, Feb. 22 through Friday, Feb. 26, travelers will have the opportunity to get the vaccine as supplies allow. The free clinic will be held in Terminal 4 on Level 3 at the east and west ends.

The program, now in its fourth year, is part of a partnership between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, the Maricopa County Health Department and The Arizona Partnership for Immunizations.

Last year, 1,291 people from 24 different states and three foreign countries took advantage of this service offered at PHX Sky Harbor. And, if you think it might be too late in the flu season to get the shot, according to health providers, it isn’t. So don’t miss out on this great opportunity!
