After the 2009-10 budget process calendar was adopted, the October 7 Policy meeting was changed to a Work Study session. With that in mind, we are requesting a change to the budget calendar to reflect returning with the Zero Based Budget Review and the preliminary budget deficit at the October 14 Policy meeting. We are not delaying the budget approval and implementation steps in early 2009.

We are also requesting that the City Council adopt the remaining technical steps in the budget calendar required by State Statute and the City Charter. The revised calendar is below.
