Sky Harbor Boulevard Lane Restrictions Impact Westbound Drivers
During the next several months, due to construction of the PHX Sky Train guideway over Taxiway R, westbound Sky Harbor Boulevard has been reduced to two lanes west of the east economy parking lot.

Tips for drivers:

  • If you don't need to come to the Airport, please avoid cutting through Sky Harbor;
  • Give yourself a little extra time, especially if you are coming in from the east;
  • If you are picking up a passenger, either park in the garage or use one of the free cell phone waiting lots to avoid circling the terminals;
  • Slow down as you enter the Airport and prepare to merge.

44th Street Ramp Construction Project
The ramp from southbound 44th Street to westbound Sky Harbor Boulevard is now open. Construction continues on the east and west sides of 44th Street. Please be cautious of trucks entering and exiting the construction areas and traffic control changes along 44th Street. To avoid construction delays use freeways to enter and exit the Airport.
