MSGP 2010 Information
On Dec. 20, 2010, the Water Quality Division Director signed the AZPDES MSGP 2010 Mining and Non-mining permits. The permit becomes effective on Feb. 1, 2011. Facilities have 120 days from the effective date of the permit to implement a SWPPP which complies with the new permit and submit their Notice of Intent (NOI) to the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ).
Did you attend the December 2010 Stormwater Training? There will be a special training session to fill you in on all the compliance details of the MSGP 2010 and assist you in filling out the NOI. In addition, we will be sending a letter and a special edition newsletter describing the process and include the time and location for the special training session. After all of the NOIs have been collected, the city of Phoenix will then submit the updated SWPPP with the NOIs to ADEQ.
