Best-Selling Arizona Author to Sign Books at PHX Sky Harbor

When you hear about author book signings, you probably don’t think of an airport as a place where one might be held. However, PHX Sky Harbor occasionally has authors come to our bookstores to sign their works.

One such event is happening on Friday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Desert Books store in Terminal 3. This event will feature J.A. Jance, a best-selling author and Tucson mystery writer. She will be on-site to sign copies of her recently released book, Fire and Ice about an investigator and sheriff from different parts of the country with a shared past who reconnect during a murder investigation.

And, because Desert Books is located pre-security in Terminal 3, the public is welcome to come out for this event even if they’re not traveling through Sky Harbor. To get to the Airport, visitors can take the Valley Metro Light Rail or park in the Terminal 3 Parking Garage for $4 an hour. Click here to learn more about the Airport’s connection to the Light Rail.
