PHX Engages Customers through Social Media
In order to connect with customers, America’s Friendliest Airport® maintains an active presence on various social media channels.
More than 4,600 people follow PHXSkyHarbor on Twitter. Tweets are sent out on a variety of subjects such as parking promotions, new Airport offerings, promotions, delays, roadway construction and much more. Phoenix Sky Harbor is also on Facebook. More than 2,300 fans receive information about events, promotions and other Airport happenings and see additional pictures that are not on our website. All tweets and Facebook posts direct users back to skyharbor.com where they will find more detailed information. YouTube users will also find that Phoenix Sky Harbor maintains a channel.
Additionally, Phoenix Sky Harbor has other ways of communicating with customers. One is through a LISTSERV email that is sent out when there is important news such as roadway restrictions, new air service and upcoming parking promotions. And, our mobile website makes it easier for customers who visit our website using mobile devices as they are automatically directed to a user-friendly site.
“We pride ourselves on communication with our customers,” said Deputy Aviation Director Deborah Ostreicher. “Having the ability to communicate with our customers in a variety of ways and in a manner that is most convenient for them is very important to us.”
