Sky Harbor Debuts New Signs

If you are driving through Sky Harbor, you may notice some new signs both inside and outside the terminals. America’s Friendliest Airport® has embarked upon a multi-year signage plan as part of an effort to make signage more comprehensive and easier to read.

The first signs went up in mid-February on the West side of the Airport. Since then, Phoenix Sky Harbor has received much positive feedback from travelers about the signage. For additional information about the signage plan, listen to "Air Time with Phoenix Sky Harbor." Aviation Superintendent Jennifer Maples gives listeners additional insight into the changes that are taking place.

Additionally, drivers should be aware that the installation of the signs is an ongoing process. The work is taking place at times to minimally impact travelers. However, there could be some nightly roadway restrictions at the Airport during this time. Drivers should slow down for construction and watch for signs. Please allow for extra time when traveling.
