Accolades Awarded to Sky Harbor Employee
Each year, the Tempe Chamber of Commerce presents an award to an exceptional businesswoman who truly makes a difference in the Tempe community. Those who are selected as finalists are deeply committed to the community in which they serve and are active within the Tempe Chamber. This year, three recipients have been chosen as finalists. They are Julie Kent, owner of Here on the Corner; Robin Trick, co-owner of the House of Tricks restaurant; and Phoenix Sky Harbor’s very own Deputy Aviation Director for Public Relations, Deborah Ostreicher.
With 16 years at Phoenix Sky Harbor, Deborah is a familiar face. She currently manages Sky Harbor’s media, public relations, customer service and air service initiatives, truly making Sky Harbor America’s Friendliest Airport®. In addition, Deborah is very active in the community serving on a variety of boards. In fact, she received the Board Chair of the Year and All Star awards from the Airports Council International and has received numerous honors for her work with the Greater Phoenix Youth at Risk organization, a group that helps local homeless children.
The award recipient will be honored at the upcoming Women in Business Conference and Trade Show on May 23. For additional information about the award and the finalists, visit the Tempe of Chamber of Commerce’s website.
Congratulations to Deborah on this outstanding achievement and for all the work you do.
