desk duties, assist in classrooms or work at one of our seasonal special
events! The Desert West Association is made up of active volunteers
who work in cooperation with community center staff to provide classes
and special events.

Youth Lounge

Youth ballet
class

Over 225 classes are offered
in various sessions throughout the year in cooperation with the Desert
West Association. Various fees may apply.
Toddlers:
Numbers, letters, shapes, games, sports, arts and crafts, storytime,
drama and more!
Youth:
Karate, tennis, ballet folklorico, tumbling, pom, cheerleading and
arts and crafts.
Teens:
After school activities, teen room, video games, billiards and more!
Youth Dance:
Jazz, hip hop, tap and ballet.
Adult Dance
and Fitness: Karate, tennis, tai-chi, tap dance, walking and aerobics.
Music lessons:
Piano, guitar and drums are just some of the classes that are offered.
Adult Ceramics:
Painting and designing projects are just part of the fun.

Weekly food bags at an annual fee for those who qualify depending on

Four field lit Softball Complex: For organized men's and co-rec league
and tournament play only.

Soccer Complex: For organized youth and adult league and tournament

Marc Atkinson
Urban Lake: A five acre lake and urban fishing at its best. An urban
fishing license is required for ages 14 and older through Arizona's
Game and Fish Department.
Sand Volleyball:
Six outdoor courts are located lakeside by Marc Atkinson Lake.
Outdoor sport
courts: Two full court lit basketball courts, lit sand and cement volleyball
courts and four lit tennis courts.
Four wall
racquetball courts. Five outdoor four wall racquetball courts.
Skate board
plaza: Skateboarders welcome. Please no roller bladders, bicycles or
scooters.
