Ms. Verma Pastor, Chair
Pastor is a retired educator who served as director of bilingual education for the Arizona Department of Education
for 20 years. She is also a board member on the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority and Friends of Phoenix Library
board, and recently finished her term as a board member for Homebase Youth Services. Mrs. Pastor earned a Bachelor
of Arts from Arizona State University. When not serving her community, she enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren.
