Oct. 20, 2008 Town Hall Meeting Discusses the Economy and Your Future “The Economy and Your Future, Get the Facts and Take Action” is the topic of a town hall meeting at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Paradise Valley Community Center, 17402 N. 40th St. A variety of experts from various backgrounds will discuss how the federal economic bailout will affect you, how to reduce risks and find a safe harbor, how your credit can be affected, how you might profit from this economy and the likelihood of inflation and what to do about it. The panelists include Russ Wiles, business writer and columnist, Arizona Republic; Craig Anderson, real estate reporter, Arizona Republic; Charles Goyette, former talk radio host; Thomas Lakatos, field vice president, Ameriprise Financial; Michael Julifs, financial analyst, Pinnacle Financial Strategies; Jan Russell, manager, Asset Management, the Vanguard Group; Kathy Church, “spending coach;” and Katheryn Morton, branch manager, United First Financial.
