Containment and disposal
If you receive garbage collection from the city of Phoenix, you may place household medical solid waste from your own home in your green or black city solid waste container for disposal. But because of its potential for injuring or infecting others, special precautions must be taken when preparing to throw it away. Please call our Customer Services Call Center at 602-262-7251 to request information or literature for proper disposal of potentially infectious solid waste.
