About us

Family Services Centers
Four multi-purpose Family Services Centers are located throughout the city and provide a broad range of services to promote self-sufficiency for adults and families.

Services include:

Case management
Caseworkers help adult individuals and families resolve social service problems and assist them in achieving self-sufficiency and become self-supporting.

Examples of assistance include budgeting, education and job training referrals, social and life-skills development, counseling and direct services.

Emergency Financial Assistance
This includes rental and utility assistance in crisis situations. Other emergency services are provided as center resources allow. Emergency assistance appointments are scheduled following an initial appointment for review of the situation.

Emergency Food Boxes and Transportation
These services are available for eligible center clients. Limited bus tickets are provided for center clients' travel to agencies, medical appointments and employment destinations.
