Certification Listings
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION:
Step One: Select the type or method of access to the affirmative action information:
Business Name (First Box) - Use if you know the name of a firm you would like to research.
Place your mouse in the empty space provided and type in the name of the business you want.
You do not have to type in the full name. The first name or first few letters of the name is
sufficient, however the more name you supply, the faster your search. After you have typed in
the name, click on the Search button.
Address (Second Box) - Use if you know the address of a firm you would like to research.
Place your mouse in the empty space provided and type in the address of the business you want.
You do not have to type in the full address. The first few numbers or letters of the address is
sufficient, however the more address you supply, the faster your search. After you have typed in
the address, click on the Search button.
Step Two: After you have clicked on Search using either of the two methods above,
a listing of companies will appear. The listing will have the name of the company, the application type (AA,
renewal of AA, the effective date and the expiration date).
Step Three: If you desire more information about the company, click on the selected
company and detail information will appear. The information is for viewing only and you
will not be able to change/enter/delete data.
Step Four: If you wish to print the information, click on the printer icon on
your browser or go to "File - Print" on your browser. You will be able to print the
page.
NOTE: If you have any problems finding the firm you are researching, call the
Equal Opportunity Department at 602-262-6790 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Step One: Select the type or method of access to the certification information:
Applicant Type/Business Category (First Box) - Use if searching for all firms listed in
a broad category (contractors, vendors, etc.).
Business Type (Second Box) - Use if searching for firms in a specific trade business
area or commodities category (plumbers, computer sales, widgits, etc.).
Business Name (Third Box) - Use if you know the name of a firm you would like to research.
To use the Applicant Type/Business Category box, place your mouse on the arrow under
Applicant Type. Click on the arrow and a dropdown menu listing SBE Records, WBE Records,
MBE Records, DBE Records and All will appear. Make your selection and click on it. Then place
your mouse on the arrow under Business Category. Click on the arrow and a dropdown menu
listing Contractors, Consultants, Services, Vendors/Suppliers and All will appear. Make your
selection and click on it. Then move your mouse to Search and click.
To use the Business Type box, place your mouse on the arrow under Business
Type. Click on the arrow and a dropdown menu listing a variety of services, products and
supplies will appear. Continue to use the down arrow until you find the service, product or
supply you want. Click on your selection. Then move your mouse to Search and click.
To use the Business Name box, place your mouse in the empty space provided and type
in the name of the business you want. You do not have to type in the full name. The first
name or first few letters of the name is sufficient; however, the more name you supply, the
faster your search will be. After you have typed in the name, move your mouse to Search and
click.
Step Two: After you have clicked on Search using any of the three methods above,
a listing of companies will appear. The listing will have the type of business, the company's name, the
application type (SBE, MBE, WBE, DBE), the effective date of the certification and the expiration
date of the certification. If there are no names, that means there are no companies
fitting the parameters of your search. Click on "Back" on your browser to return you
to the search page.
Step Three: If you desire more information about the company, click on the selected
company and detail information will appear. The information is for viewing purposes only and you
will not be able to change/enter/delete data.
