Arts and Diversity Project

Overview

Arts and Diversity Project grants represent one area of interest in the Community Arts Support Category. These grants offer a flexible area of funding assistance for arts related activities that foster the artistic development of organizations, promote the community's cultural richness, or reach out into the community to meet a particular need.

Arts and Diversity Project grants provide funding assistance for activities that:

  • have as their primary purpose the preservation, production or presentation of art forms and cultural activities specific to an ethnic culture.
  • express the experiences of historically underserved ethnic and other communities (which include but are not limited to African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic/Latinos, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders, and the gay/lesbian community
  • celebrate Phoenix's ethnic diversity and variety of cultural traditions

Applicants to the Arts and Diversity category may not submit an application in any of the other Community Arts Support Categories:
